Master's Programs
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to provide proof of at least one of the following:
- A university degree (where the program lasted at least six semesters), with above-average grades
- A degree from a university of applied sciences
- A degree from an international university of comparable rank
The first degree should be in a major related to Business Studies or Economics, including the fields of Economics, Media Management, Communications Management, Event Management, Information Management, Business Law, Business Journalism, Industrial Engineering, Business Mathematics, and Business Communication.
Students who majored in other subjects which included parts of these fields will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Your resume should be in table form. Please include certificates of apprenticeships and internships, letters of reference from former employers, and two passport photos.
Diploma of first university degree
Applicants should submit the diploma of their first university degree.
Letter of Motivation
Please provide a short explanation for why we should accept you as a student at the ISM, as well as why you have chosen to apply for the Master's program (maximum one DIN A4 page or one 8-1/2" by 11" page).

Proof of proficiency in English
Applicants are required to take a written placement test to be accepted into the university.
Applicants should provide proof of English proficiency through one of the following:
- TOEFL - minimum 550 points (written test), of 215 points (PC-based test)
- TOEIC - minimum 750 points
- At least 60 ECTS in an English-language university program
- University degree in English studies
- Native speaker of English (to be evaluated on an individual basis)
Application interview
The candidate's personal characteristics such as ambition, self-confidence, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit will be assessed in a personal interview. In addition, factors such as personal appearance, communication skills, problem-solving ability, leadership skills, social competence and ability to work under pressure will be evaluated. A one-day assessment center is an alternative to the personal interview.
