Corporate Finance

Study Program

General information

Six-semester bachelors courses are two semesters shorter than our Diplom courses. While students gain general business knowledge during the first two semesters the focus shifts gradually towards more specific study contents in the following semesters.

In the first semester common business subjects are taught primarily. Also, two foreign languages are part of the study program. From second semester on students choose their specializations (Business Communication / International Management / Tourism and Event Management / Corporate Finance). In third semester 30 per cent of the classes deal with study specific contents. During fourth semester students attend one of our partner universities abroad and augment their specialist knowledge. In semester five and six study contents are completely focused on the individual specializations.

Language course / semester abroad

The bachelors course offers two overseas stays in only six semesters. A language course and a semester abroad are integral parts of the course of study. Students gain additional intercultural experience during their internship abroad after the fourth semester.

Internships / practical projects

The bachelors course offers both foreign language skills and a practically oriented education. Students complete two internships - one in Germany and one abroad. Practical experience is augmented through market research projects and workshops where students engage in actual consulting projects and problem solving for partner companies.

Bachelor thesis

The bachelor thesis is less extensive but otherwise similar to the regular Diplom thesis. The students' goal is to do scientific work on a practically oriented problem.
