Business Certificate: Core Courses (Block 1)

Project Management

The class Project Management focuses on management and advisory projects. Market research, business development, strategic planning, change management, promotion campaigning, and internationalization are examples of management and advisory projects. The reason for this focus is that young graduates today are expected to be able to deal with the typical complexities of management and advisory projects without dedicated prior training (e.g., in a role as assistant to the Managing Director). The skills taught are immediately applicable even before graduation, for example, to manage student teams in the consulting workshop, or in the writing of the final thesis. The course will be very hands-on, and students are required to complete exercises, mini-cases, and team presentations.
