Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the dynamics and the challenges facing leaders at an organizational and personal level. At the end of the course, participants should have a clearer understanding of the concept of a leadership-driven organization. They will learn how to provide effective leadership and initiate change.

Course Description

This seminar teaches the value of competencybased leadership on emotional intelligence. It leads students to systematically test their own leadership styles and those of their superiors and peers by using models in order to assess leadership styles.

Topics of the Course:

  • Challenges of the 21st century and the leadership driven organization
  • The concept of resonant leadership, the four emotional intelligence leadership competencies, and the five discoveries
  • The leadership repertoire and leadership styles
  • Principle-centered leadership and the seven habits of highly effective people
  • The failure factor in leadership
  • Communities of leaders and guiding coalitions; sustainable change
  • Specific South African challenges and strategies to address them

Ralf Juhre

schloss nach der Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann ein betriebswirtschaftliches Studium in Frankfurt und Gießen ab. Anschließend absolvierte er den Studiengang Pädagogik an der Fern-Universität Hagen. 1997 gründete er die rj-training + beratung GmbH, deren Geschäftsführer er ist. Als Trainer steht er hier mittelständischen Betrieben und Großunternehmen in Fragen rund um die Bereiche Führungskultur und Führungskräfte-Entwicklung zur Seite. Seit 2009 ist er Dozent für Leadership und Behavioral Science an der ISM.
